About PureVision contact lens
PureVision by Bausch & Lomb are a monthly disposable soft contact lens with 6 lenses in each box.
They are an extended lens which allows the flexibility of sleeping in the lenses for a number of nights. This is possible due to the high level of oxygen which is permeated by the PureVision contact lens material.
PureVision lenses use an aspheric design for clear, crisp vision and the AerGel material enhances comfort and provides all day moisture. The 36% water content gives good hydration. There is a visibility tint to allow the wearer an easy view of the lens inside the case.
Purevision were intended to be replaced by Purevision 2 lenses in 2015, however B+L has now decided to continue supply of the original PureVision lenses at an increased cost. Consider updating your lenses to Purevsion 2 HD which has the advantage of high definition optics at half the cost of the original Purevision lenses.
Remember, extended wearing schedules should always be approved by your eye health practitioner. Only your eye health practitioner knows which contact lenses are suitable for your eyes and always follow their instructions and prescription.
